Stock Equipment Company has entered a twenty-five year Sales and Distribution Agreement with Applied Plasma Physics of Norway. Stock will act as APP’s exclusive North American sales and distribution representative for APP’s ModuPower high frequency power supply for electrostatic precipitators. The ModuPower will compliment Stock’s Environmental Controls Product Line – which already includes traditional T/R sets, voltage controls and rapper controls.
The ModuPower is a scalable, high frequency, switched mode power supply for electrostatic precipitators. The ModuPower provides better efficiency, scalable current outputs, and improved ESP performance, especially for small, hard-to-collect particulates. The ModuPower is based on more than a decade of high frequency power supply experience in air pollution control applications. The ModuPower system can achieve output voltages up to 120 kV at up to 3000 mA, a significant increase in power over existing switched mode power supply alternatives.
Applied Plasma Physics was founded in 1997 and specializes in collection of fine particulates and odor control technologies. To date, more than 300 APP systems have been installed in power and process industry applications.
